I’ve always been fascinated by the endless potential of technology and the effort that goes into understanding all its inner workings. Now, as a junior Computer Science student at AUB, I am constantly improving my problem-solving skills to use them in the real world. That’s why I was so excited to hear about Youth4Governance, where students like me get the chance to contribute our knowledge to Lebanon’s public sector. It’s such an amazing opportunity to make a difference by using what I’ve learned to help digitalize the governmental services we interact with on a daily basis. As a front-end software engineer I hope to make the experience simpler and more user-friendly for the people in Lebanon, while also enhancing the accessibility and efficiency of the currently out-dated services. I look forward to working towards this shared vision and making a positive difference in people’s lives through technology.
